Factory entry checklist

Ten checks before a mill joins the network.

  • Valid RSC / ACCORD structural, fire and electrical clearance
  • Social audit on file and within date
  • No child or forced labour, verified on site
  • Wages at or above the legal minimum, paid on time
  • Working hours and overtime records available
  • Functioning grievance channel for workers
  • Fire exits, alarms and drills checked in person
  • Effluent and waste handling for wash and dye units
  • Chemical inventory and restricted-substance policy
  • Written no-unapproved-subcontracting undertaking
